In which an online personality quiz misses the mark

According to the What’s Your Theme Song? quiz, my personal theme song is AC/DC‘s Back in Black. I have to agree with Billy: Lame. This is the least on-target of all the quizzes I’ve taken at eMode.com. I only barely like that song, and there’s no way it’s the theme of my life. (Here are some great songs.) We’ve covered this topic at davidgagne.net already, remember? I love the Beatles and a million other groups, but for personal theme songs here it’s all about George Thorogood and the Destroyers. Either Bad to the Bone or Who Do You Love?.

Okay.

Maybe the Beatles’ Help!.

Maybe.

Note: According to eMode,

You’re a hard-core guy who knows what he wants and intends to get it. That’s why your theme song is “Back in Black.” Whether you’re pumping iron, shooting pick-up hoops, or rounding up the boys for a night of havoc, AC/DC’s metal classic is the perfect tune to get you fired up and blow your speakers out in the process.

I disagree. Oh well.

  1. Mine is “My Way” by Limp Bizkit. Not too far off….but I would have picked something better like “Hate, Myth, Muscle, Etiquette” by Propagandhi.

  2. Well, mine is “Born To Be Wild”, just about sums it up, eh, David?Nice diversion, and good for a laugh…..

A few years ago I was trying to determine what cocktails I could make with the alcohol I had at home. I searched the App Store but couldn't find an app that would let me do that, so I built one.
