AutoText
I’m always writing little programs to make my life easier. One of the handiest I’ve created is called AutoText. This small (only 32K!) app sits in your system tray and, when you double-click it, sends a text string to whichever application has the focus. There’s no documentation or help; it’s pretty simple. Software by Design
Software Design has been on the ‘net for several years. Gregory Braun has written many great little apps for Windows and I highly recommend them. They’re all try-before-you-buy but are full-featured, too. FontShow is great and I have the Time Synchronization program set to run daily.
Windows Registry
The Windows Registry Guide is full of registry tweaks, tricks, and hacks to optimize, enhance, and secure Microsoft Windows. This is really a wonderful site. There are dozens of mini-tutorials to make Windows do all sorts of nifty things. I really like this place.
Rose Bowl
Florida is simply looking like the best team in the country … and ESPN.com’s Bowl Projections page is predicting a Miami / Florida match-up at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena!
