davidgagne.net is the personal weblog of me, David Vincent Gagne. I've been publishing here since 1999, which makes this one of the oldest continuously-updated websites on the Internet.
A few years ago I was trying to determine what cocktails I could make with the alcohol I had at home. I searched the App Store but couldn't find an app that would let me do that, so I built one.

Werd, I just tracked this down through the new Yahoo search. While I appreciate Dane’s plug for our work, gazingus did quite an overhaul by making it use semantic lists and dynamically generated event handlers for the dropdowns. It wasn’t really an option for us at the time so we used divs and tables. Anyway, just wanted to make sure Gus (?) got his fair share of the credit. Given all the work that he did to them, he really only used a small portion of our work from the script library. Nice work. 😉
Best drop-down menu?
Using Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826, nothing drops down.
I see the bar, and when I mouseover, the
color changes, but nothing drops down.
on firefox (disable Javascript) , no drop down 😀
