A friend of mine recently asked for a list of good sports websites. If you’re only getting your sports fix from ESPN.com then you’re missing a lot of good stuff. I’ve had a Sports bookmark folder since at least ’95. Here are the ones that I visit on a regular basis:

My Favorite Sports Sites

Am I missing any of your favorites? Drop a note into the comments if there’s a good one you think I should be following.

  1. Dude. Seriously. 95? No. I defy you to name a sports site that was ONLINE in 1995.

  2. Well that’s just silly. Of course there were sports sites online in ’95. I made the first Florida Crew website when I started rowing in ’94 and that can’t possibly have been the first sports site ever.

  3. Pro-football-reference.com. It’s great. All the football stars you can want back to the forties. It’s run by staticians so there are blogs examining football trends from a statistically analytical viewpoint. Good stuff

What Is This?
