Every time you post an entry, you want the world to know. If you tell it to do so, the WordPress engine will notify several site update services with a ping to let them know that there’s something new on your site. On the “Settings” panel, at the bottom of the “Write” tab, there is a section labeled Update Services. By default there are a few services listed here, but if you take a minute to add some other popular ones, you should see a nice little traffic increase.
