Phineas and Ferb

I found this collection of Phineas and Ferb memes on Facebook a few years ago. There are enough good fan-generated graphics there that I decided it warranted a link. It’s one of the funniest and smartest shows ever made and I cannot believe the creators needed sixteen years to convince a studio to produce it. (The theme song — by 90s pop-punk band Bowling for Soup — has been on heavy rotation in our home for almost a decade now.)

The Wikipedia entry for the series is worth a read, too. It’s loaded with dry (and perhaps unintentionally funny) commentary, but this line might be my favorite:

[Perry the Platypus] works as a secret agent identified as Agent P for an all-animal government organization named O.W.C.A. (“Organization Without a Cool Acronym”).

A few years ago I was trying to determine what cocktails I could make with the alcohol I had at home. I searched the App Store but couldn't find an app that would let me do that, so I built one.
