in which I am a dolt

My best friend lives in LA. All day long I’ve been waiting for him to get on-line because I wanted to tell him something. But he’s not going to be getting on-line today! He’s in an airplane on his way here! Doh!

Beer

When I went to LA in June of ’99, Jorge and I bought a few 20-packs of Budweiser longnecks. I was surprised to see the 20-pack boxes out there. I had never seen them anywhere outside of New England. They are pretty economical; a 20-pack is around $12 while a 12-pack is $8.50. The case

Tax Party

Here’s a link to the Tax Party that Lanie and her roomies had in LA on Saturday night. One of her roomies was a producer on the last Sublime CD; he had a gold record in his room. Very cool.

Priceline.com

Wow! My first experience with priceline.com looks like it was a good one. I’ll be flying from JAX at 1140 EST on 2000.04.13 and landing at LAX at 1545 PST. The other way is leaving LAX at 1152 PST on 2000.04.17 and landing in JAX at 1605 EST, with a one-hour layover in Dallas.

I told priceline.com to find me a ticket to LAX for 2000.04.15 weekend. And I don’t wanna pay more than $300! We’ll see if it finds anything … I’ll keep you el postado …
